Veneer Configurator

Get inspired

The veneer configurator of top acoustics makes the effect of veneers in the room tangible and shows the characteristic of different types of cuts and joining. It helps to determine the appropriate sorting for each project, because only the right connection gives a room its own appearance.

Joining Type:

Rustic Board

Characteristics

Veneers from different frets and trunks are combined, creating different colors, leaf widths and structures a vibrant, rustic appearance. The use of all veneer packages minimizes waste and ensures optimum material utilization. On large wall or ceiling surfaces, the striking appearance is particularly useful.

Cut Method:

Light Board

Characteristics

Veneers from different frets are sorted in a mixed way. Harmonious colours and the fine, straight-line grain of the Rift veneers give a calm and elegant look. By sorting out extreme colors and structures, a homogeneous overall picture is created. Individual panels may have slight differences in color and structure. Particularly suitable for large wall or ceiling surfaces with higher optical requirements with low waste.

Cut Method:

Slip-Matched

Characteristics

Rift veneers from the same waistband are sold. Calm, homogeneous veneers produce balanced surfaces, whereby the same veneer leaf at the top prevents the panels from squinting. Striking veneer spots repeat themselves in the rapport. Color differences are emphasized, as the heart and sap side are glued. The veneer structure often runs slightly obliquely. Suitable for small wall and ceiling surfaces with a quiet look, less for large areas.

Slip-Matched

Characteristics

Rift veneers with cut heart (easy transition to «construction») from the same waistband are sold. Calm, homogeneous veneers produce balanced surfaces, whereby the same veneer leaf at the top prevents the panels from squinting. Striking veneer spots repeat in the rapport. Color differences are emphasized, as the heart and sap side are glued. By more or less a proportion of heart/flower, the image can easily look asymmetrical. Suitable for small wall and ceiling surfaces with a quiet look, less for large areas.

Slip-Matched

Characteristics

Veneers from the same waistband are sorted. Even blade widths ensure a harmonious look with minimal blending. Slight differences in structure, color or leaf width are retained. Cut construction (flower) on the sides is possible. Ideal for small wall or ceiling surfaces, e.g. Cabinet fronts, less for large areas.

Cut Method:

Slip-Matched Partially Rotated

Characteristics

Veneers from the same waistband are sorted, every second sheet is rotated by 180°. Depending on the width of the leaf, panels with uniform color and structure are created, while turning prevents a strong emphasis on the panel foot. Each waistband develops its own characteristic, differences in structure, leaf width or color can occur. When light falls sideways and flat on a surface, strip formation is visible. Suitable for small ceiling and wall coverings with horizontal veneer.

Slip-Matched Partially Rotated

Characteristics

Veneers from the same collar are sorted, every second sheet is rotated about the longitudinal axis by 180°. In the case of calm, color-homogeneous veneers, balanced surfaces are created, whereby the same veneer leaf side at the top prevents the panels from squinting. Color differences in the sheet are compensated for by the gluing of core-core and splint-splint sides, but can be emphasized during painting. Stripe formation can occur in the grazing light. Suitable for small wall and ceiling surfaces with a quiet look and a slight emphasis on the wood structure.

Depending on the width of the leaf, panels with uniform color and structure are created, while turning prevents a strong emphasis on the panel foot. Each covenant develops its own characteristic. Differences in structure, leaf width or color may occur. Strip formations are visible for small surfaces. Suitable for small ceiling and wall coverings with horizontal veneer.

Cut Method:

Book-Matched

Characteristics

Veneers from the same waistband are sorted to fall. Each pair of veneers is arranged like an open book page. Symmetrical image is only created with a straight number of sheets. Cut on the sides is possible. Color differences can be emphasized during painting. Suitable for small wall and ceiling panels with even panel width. For customers who value a balanced, natural veneer.

Book-Matched

Characteristics

Veneers with a cut heart (easy transition to the «assembly») from the same waistband are sorted. Each pair of veneers is arranged like an open book page. A symmetrical image is only created with a straight number of sheets. A cut on the sides is possible. Color differences can be emphasized during painting. Suitable for small wall and ceiling panels with even panel width.

Book-Matched

Characteristics

Veneers from the same waistband are sorted to fall. Each pair of veneers is arranged like an open book page. With a straight number of sheets, a symmetrical overall picture is created. Slight slants of the grain are compensated. The underside of the veneer has different technical characteristics than the top side. In the case of stained or painted surfaces, stripe formation or slight color differences may occur. Suitable for small wall surfaces with vertical veneer.
