The hall of the Grand Council of the Canton of Geneva has been renovated three times since its inauguration in 1703. The latest renovation started in 2018 and was completed in 2022.
At the center is the impressive atrium, which has been clad with a delicate structure made of solid oak. The seating arrangement for the parliamentarians was also redesigned to encourage political debates.
Surrounding the atrium, a ceiling made of Topakustik Micro was installed, ensuring that the 100 members of the Grand Council can acoustically understand each other during lively debates.
